Short Description: Poiana Ruscă mountains are inhabited since long time and ussually the villages are located on mountain peaks between 800-1100m altitude. Most of the inhabitants of these villages, known as pădureni, were dealing with iron ore mining and production (see Hunedoara, one of the oldest iron and steel centers in the country). The network of macadam roads that connect the villages between them as well as the different historical objectives the castle of Corvin, the furnace of Govâjdia (the oldest in Europe), the marble road make this area a paradise for MTB tours.

Crossing Apuseni on MTB

Short Description:  In this tour we will go on MTB the mountainous area between the Someșului valley and the Mureș valley, practically the whole group of the Apuseni mountains if we exclude Meseș and Plopiș. And because we are talking about Apuseni, we have included in the route the main objectives Padiș, Cucurbata Peak (or Bihor, the highest in Apuseni), the King’s road from Zarand, etc. The accommodation will be made at pensions where we can also have lunch so that the luggage is as easy as possible.

Trekking on High Tatras

Short Description: The Tatra Mountains are part of the Carpathian chain and form the natural border between Slovakia and Poland. In these mountains no less than 40 peaks exceed the altitude of 2000m and also here we find the highest peak in the Carpathians (Gerlach 2655m). The alpine and wild nature of these mountains together with the multitude of lakes and wild animals recommends them for hiking. During our tour we will go through some of the important routes in Tatra, we will climb 2 of the most famous peaks Rysy and Krivan and, within the remaining time we will try to explore a little and the underground world of Slovakia (country famous for the beauty of the arranged caves).

Short Description: As every year, at the beginning of autumn we return to Piatra Craiului, considered by many mountaineers the most beautiful massif in the country. This year we intend to tour the Nordic Ridge, the sector located between the Ascuțit Peak and the Grindului Saddle. Because the ride is a difficult one we will try to lighten the backpacks and opt for sleeping at the cabin.

Crossing Godeanu Mountain with tents

Short Description: The Godeanu Massif is surrounded by all parts of other great mountains, Tarcu to the North and West, Cernei and Mehedinti to the South and West and to the East is bounded by Retezat. This positioning makes Godeanu a less traveled mountain where the hikers can enjoy the nature still unaltered. Further in these mountains is the Gugu peak, one of the places that is said to have been used as a place of refuge by the Dacian god Zamolxe. In our tour we will travel most of the main ridge of the massif and of course among other climbs we will climb the Gugu peak. We will sleep the tents.

Crossing Almăj mountains on MTB

Short Description: The origin of the Czech villages (the Czechs in the area are called pemi) is lost in history. They came here during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, starting in 1780, especially to work in the mines in the area. Their villages, 6 in number today St. Helena, Gîrnic, Ravensca, Bigăr, Eibental, Șumița are mainly located on the main ridges of the Almăjului mountains, some gentle mountains that hardly exceed altitudes of 600m. Although mining is no longer practiced in the area, thanks to a program run by the Czech Republic, locals have received funding for the development of small businesses, especially in the field of tourism. This is why today in the mentioned villages there are traditional accommodation units where we can spend the night but also taste of products specific to the area. The network of macadam roads combined with traditional tourism have transformed the Almăjului area into a perfect destination for MTB tours.

Piatra Rolului and  Sfânta Elena Cave

Degree of difficulty: medium, recommended also for kids (age 6 or more) used with trekking trips,
Short Description: The hiking trip is made from the Călugăra Monastery on an unmarked and steeper route that tests our physical condition. Once you reach Mount Rol we will enjoy a wide view of the hills that surround the city of Oravița. From here through a forest full of flowers and lush we will continue to the St. Helena Cave. Although the route has only 8Km difference in level and rugged terrain will keep us alert all day.
