Planning a trip to Iceland is not an easy task. The abundance of objectives, the great distances but also the high costs are some of the elements to be taken into consideration.
\nFor our first tour we chose to stay 10 days, half of which we allocated to a road trip and the other half to a trekking tour. For the road trip I chose some of the most popular attractions in the southern part of Iceland, the area we explored. Basically we traveled from Reykjavik to Jokulsarlon (Diamond Beach) to the east and north just to Akranes. We gathered about 1500km in 5 days and we saw: Waterfalls, black sand beaches, lava desserts, canyons, fishing villages, iceberg lagoons, geysers, big rift, sandstorms, generally a world completely different.<\/p>\n
